CRM is where your people live. It merges two things that most church software keeps apart:
  • Contacts — records you created. Someone who filled in a connect card, a visitor, a donor.
  • Members — people who made their own Harvest account at your address.
Somebody who is both counts once.

Views

Switch between a list and a pipeline, and filter by All, Members or Donors. Search works across names and email addresses.

Activities

Each contact has a timeline. Add an activity to record a conversation, a visit, a decision — or a donation.
Recording a donation as an activity is what makes it count on your dashboard and in accounting. It is not just a note.

Importing

Bring your existing list in as a CSV. If you are moving from a spreadsheet, this is the step that takes an afternoon and then never again.

Exporting

You can export your contacts at any time. Your data is yours — see Data and privacy.

Large lists

Very large contact lists are loaded up to a ceiling rather than all at once. When that happens Harvest says so on screen — “Showing N — this list is incomplete” — rather than quietly showing you a partial list as though it were everything. If you see that message, use search and filters to narrow down, or export for the full set.

Donor totals

A member’s total given comes from the gifts you have recorded. Money that arrived in your PayPal but was never entered shows as £0 against that person.
