Events cover anything you want people to sign up for — a conference, a crusade, a youth weekend, a members’ meeting.
Event registration is a Ministry plan feature. Publishing an event and taking signups for it needs Ministry. See Plans and limits.

Creating an event

Add a title, a date, a location and an image. You can view your events as a list or a month calendar. Each published event gets a public registration page and a QR code:
Anyone can register from that link — no Harvest account needed — which matters for outreach, where most attendees are not members yet.
That link and QR code may end up on printed flyers. It does not change once published, so print with confidence, but pick your church address carefully at setup.

Ticket types and capacity

Add ticket types — adult, child, concession — each with its own capacity. When one fills up, the waitlist takes over. Discount codes work across ticket types. Harvest does not process card payments, so paid events work like the rest of giving: your church collects the money and confirms it.

What the attendee does

They register

Immediately, as unpaid. They get their ticket code straight away.

They pay you directly

Through whichever of your payment links you chose for this event, putting the reference code in the payment note.

They press I've paid

This confirms nothing. It tells your church to go and look.

What you do

The claim appears in your inbox, top right. Open your own payment account, find the payment by its reference, and only then press Confirm. Confirming records the payment, creates the invoice and updates your dashboard — exactly like recording a gift.
You are notified by email when someone claims they have paid, so you are not expected to sit watching the inbox.

Nobody is turned away at the door

Check-in never blocks on payment

Somebody pays on Friday, nobody confirms until Sunday, and they arrive with a ticket reading unpaid. Let them in. Check-in shows the unconfirmed flag to your volunteer and waves them through. Sort the money afterwards.

Harvest verifies nothing

Your church confirms payments. Harvest records what your church says.If an attendee disputes a payment later, your payment account is the truth, not Harvest.

Check-in

On the day, scan tickets or search by name. Attendance is recorded per person, and you can export the whole list as a CSV.
