Paying for an event actually works
If your church took ticket payments, the registration page was not showing your payment links — so people registered and then had no way to pay you.Now: the page shows the payment links you chose for that event, gives the attendee a reference code to put in the payment note, and lets them tell you they have paid. That claim lands in your inbox, and you confirm it after checking your own account.This works for anyone with the link — they do not need a Harvest account, which matters for outreach where most people are not members yet.We also removed old wording that promised to send people to a payment page that no longer existed.GivingAccounting
A gift you record now counts everywhere
Recording a donation in the CRM used to update the CRM and nothing else. Your dashboard did not move and your books did not know about it.Now: one entry updates your dashboard, creates the invoice in accounting, appears in that member’s own giving history, and lands on their year-end statement. People could join your church and be invisible
Someone signing up on certain setups ended up connected to no church at all. They could not be found in your CRM, could not post a prayer request and could not see your blog — with nothing on screen to say anything was wrong.Fixed. The member chat holds still
The message box used to drift up and down as you scrolled, and half of it sat behind the bottom menu.Now: it stays pinned to the bottom of a conversation, and the bottom menu gets out of the way while you are reading a thread.Admins also get the full attachment menu here — notes, contacts, fundraising and forms, with search across all four — rather than forms only. Fixes from a week of testing on a phone
- The blog page crashed for some churches. Fixed.
- The map zoomed out far enough to show the world three times over. Now bounded.
- A course you adopted and later lost kept eating one of your plan’s course slots. Fixed.
- The List and Month buttons on events were the wrong size and misaligned.
- Notes moved its menu to three dots, added share-on-web with a link you can revoke, and the expand button now hides the bottom menu properly.
- The chat message box was not using the full width of the screen.

Volunteers get their invitations by email
Rota invitations used to depend on your church connecting a Google account, which meant clicking past a security warning to use a feature.Now: invitations, reminders and unfilled-slot warnings go out by email from Harvest, on every plan. The email shows your church’s name as the sender, and volunteers accept with one tap — no account needed.Design
One theme, and a darker dark mode
We had two colour families running side by side. That is gone — there is now one, with a light and a dark mode.Dark mode is a deeper neutral grey than before, and the dividing lines between rows are far dimmer. They were reading as bright white on a dark screen.Fixed
Lists no longer quietly show you part of the truth
Some screens loaded a slice of your data and presented it as everything — a church with 600 contacts saw 500 and no indication the rest existed.Now: where a list is incomplete, it says so on screen, and the counts above it are exact.The admin course screen and the member course page also disagreed with each other about how many library courses existed. A new sidebar
The desktop sidebar was a single column of every screen in Harvest, scrolling. It is now a narrow rail of categories — hover or click one and its section opens beside it, full height.Only one panel opens at a time, and clicking pins it open.Fixed
The map stopped working, quietly
Our map provider changed their terms and began stamping API KEY REQUIRED across every tile instead of returning an error. Nothing broke loudly, so nothing alerted us.Fixed — the map now uses OpenStreetMap, which needs no key, with their attribution shown as their licence requires.AccountsFixed
Creating an account failed at the last step

A service no longer needs an event first
Planning a Sunday used to mean creating an event and then attaching a service to it. Most churches do not advertise their weekly service as an event, so this was backwards.Now: create a service directly, with its own date. Your dashboard says what changed, in words
The insights under your numbers used to show database paths. They now read like sentences — “Nobody has given for four weeks running” — and compare against your own previous weeks rather than anything else.Services
Service planning, in full
Three parts landed together:- The order of service — a run sheet with lengths, so moving one item shifts the clock times after it. Save a weekly service as a template.
- Volunteer rotas across weeks — see the month at once, with a warning when you put the same person in two places.
- Invitations — volunteers accept or decline from an email link, with reminders and a flag on any slot nobody has taken.

Editing your profile could fail without telling you
Saving your personal information could fail silently — the dialog closed, nothing was saved, and nothing said so.Fixed. A failed save now shows the error, keeps the dialog open and keeps what you typed.FormsFixed
Forms
- Form responses were counted from the wrong place, so a form with real submissions could show zero. Fixed.
- Options could not be added to a multiple-choice field in the builder. Fixed.
- A per-question view now shows every answer to one question at a time, over a complete read of the responses.

The Giving tab, and a public giving page
Your dashboard’s Giving tab now reads your ledger, your campaigns and your pledges.The giving page is also public, so you can share it with people who are not members — by link, by the phone’s own share sheet, or as a QR code for the back of the room.Fixed

A dashboard worth opening
The dashboard became tabbed — Overview, Growth, Giving, Engagement and Content — with a member trend, a countries table, and real figures for who is actually using your courses and reading your articles.Content
A proper editor toolbar, and folders for notes
Notes, courses and the blog share one editor, and it now has a toolbar that stays put instead of appearing only when you select text.Notes also got a folder tree you can see all at once, rather than clicking down into one folder at a time.Courses

- Courses show a status badge, and the button changes with the status rather than always saying the same thing.
- Deleting a check-in session now removes its attendee records too, instead of leaving them orphaned.
- Signups moved out of the analytics screen onto its own page.
