Your church’s data belongs to your church

You can export your contacts, your giving records and your event registrations at any time, as CSV. There is no export fee and no notice period.

When a member asks for their data

Under GDPR and similar laws, a member can ask for a copy of everything you hold about them. Harvest produces that export for you.

When a member asks to be erased

A member can ask to be removed. Harvest handles the erasure across your church’s records.
Giving records are usually an exception. Most jurisdictions require charities to retain financial records for several years, so an erasure request does not automatically delete someone’s donation history.This is a legal question for your church, not a setting in Harvest. Take advice if you are unsure.

What Harvest can and cannot see

Harvest stores

Your contacts, content, events, courses and the gifts you record.

Harvest never sees

Your congregation’s payments. Money moves between them and your own payment accounts, never through us.

One church cannot see another

Every church on Harvest is separated at the database level. A member of one church cannot read another church’s people, content or giving — and neither can its admins.

Your subscription

Harvest’s own billing runs through a payment provider that acts as merchant of record. Your card details are never stored by us.
