# Groups and campuses

> Small groups inside your church, and running more than one congregation.

## Community groups

Groups are the smaller rooms inside your church — a home group, a youth team, a prayer circle, a leadership cohort.

Each group has its own space. Members see the groups they belong to, and nothing they do not.

### Why groups rather than one feed

A whole-church [community feed](/content/blog-and-community) is for the things everyone needs. Groups are for the things a few people need often — the Tuesday study, the worship team's rota chat, the deacons' conversation.

Put both in one feed and people stop reading either.

### Setting one up

Create the group, add its members, and it appears for them in the member app. An admin can add or remove people at any time.

## Campuses

If your church meets in more than one place, each location can be its own campus.

  **Every plan includes one campus.** Additional campuses are an add-on — one per campus, on any plan. There is no tier that includes more than one.

  This is deliberate: a second congregation is a real increase in what Harvest runs for you, and pricing it as an add-on means a single-site church never pays for it.

### What a campus gets

Its own identity within your church — so a member knows which service they are looking at, and your team can plan each location separately without running two accounts.

### When you do not need one

If you meet twice on a Sunday in the same building, that is two [services](/ministry/service-planning), not two campuses. Campuses are for separate locations.
