# The member app

> What your congregation sees when they open Harvest.

When someone in your church opens `yourchurch.theharvest.app`, this is what they get. It works in a browser on any phone — nothing to install.

## The main tabs

Along the bottom: **Home**, **Bible**, **Map**, and **My Profile**.

## Bible

A full Bible in the app. Members can save verses, and saved verses stay with their account.

## Map

A map of churches on Harvest. Useful for someone travelling, moving, or looking for a congregation near them.

Your church appears here once you have added your address.

<Note>
  The map is available on **Pro and Ministry**. On Free and Plus it does not appear.
</Note>

## Ask Harvest

A chat trained on Scripture, theology and **your own course content** — see [Ask Harvest](/member-app/ask-harvest).

<Note>
  Ask Harvest is an **add-on**, not part of any plan. If your church has not added it, members will not see it.
</Note>

## Their giving history

Under their profile, a member sees every gift your church has [recorded](/giving/recording-a-gift) against their email address, grouped by year, with downloadable receipts.

<Warning>
  They only see gifts you have recorded. If somebody gave through PayPal and nobody entered it, their history shows nothing — and they will ask you about it.
</Warning>

## Signing up

Members create their own account at **your** address. Someone who signs up elsewhere will not be connected to your church.
