# Ask Harvest

> An AI study assistant trained on Scripture and your own teaching.

Ask Harvest is a chat your members can use to ask questions about faith. It draws on Scripture, theology, and **your church's own course material**.

  Ask Harvest is an **add-on**. It is not included in any plan, including Ministry. Add it from your billing settings.

## What makes it different from a general chatbot

It answers from what **your church teaches**. If your discipleship course explains baptism a particular way, that is the answer a member gets — not a generic one.

You control what shapes those answers.

## Managing its sources

An admin with the **AI knowledge** permission decides what Ask Harvest draws on. Add your courses, your teaching notes and any document you want it to reference.

  Start with your core discipleship material. A small, accurate set of sources gives better answers than everything you have ever written.

## What members see

A chat, with suggested questions to start from — things like *What does the Bible say about anxiety?* or *Explain John 3:16 in depth.* Each member's conversation history is their own.

## Be clear with your congregation

  The app says so itself, and it is worth repeating from the front: **Ask Harvest can make mistakes.** It is a study aid, not a pastor, and it does not replace your teaching or your pastoral care.

## What it cannot do

* It cannot see your CRM, your giving or your private notes
* It cannot answer for your church on pastoral matters
* It cannot act — it answers questions, it does not do things
